This poem is written for my special Lil Sister(Cyber One Of Course) Forever Broken.. A World so cold would shut you out.. but my arms are opening wider now so don't cry, don't pout.. Let me catch you!! ______________________________________________________ Put Down The Knife, This Is How You Save Life The world of destruction spins around and around The faster it gets, the harder she hits the ground Her heart beats faster as her blood starts to boil These emotions of hers will bury her in this soil She picks up the knife the blade sparkles in the sun If only it could all be over, if only she had a gun Cutting’s who she is, it’s what she knows best If she could only put it down, go to sleep, have a rest She stands back as her hands tremble in despair If only she knew that we really care She can rise above this, rise from the ashes of old Rise above those deadly voice that will soon be blunt and cold You know lil Em, i’ll pray for you tonight I just pray that you have the courage to stand up and fight So go on sweetie put down the knife Today will not be the day when you attempt to take your life |

... so im sitting here, trying my heardest no to cry 'cause my moms in the kitchen but the last stanza deffinetly did it. Jess, thank you. I-- I don't know what to say to u. wow....I'm touched. It means a lot for anybody to do something like this for somebody... i can't criticize you jess. your work is beautiful. i can't imagine what you go through just to put it all together....and emily..cutting doesnt solve anything but cause more problems....we've talked. and we've both went through this.... just forget a knife and and remember that your not alone.....just talk to me about it. i will listen.............. jess good good great! job keagan |
