She was born during a beautiful morning Ready to see what life has for her Never to know that the future Is waiting to come for her As she grew up Wanting to know and see everything She found out that her family Wasn’t in the best harmony All the fighting that happens All the screams, all too loud All the tears that stream, All is not as good as it may seem Everything happens for a reason, Is what she heard all her life Later to find out soon That her father is now without a wife Only six weeks later He is remarried once again Third time is the charm Hopefully this one is better in the end All the fighting that happens All the screams, all too loud All the tears that stream, All is not as good as it may seem Her mother is on her own Trying to find herself She ends up having a beautiful baby boy To a man nowhere near wealth She feels once again alone No one to turn or talk to Always afraid to just pick up that phone Never feeling that she can be rescued All the fighting that happens All the screams, all too loud All the tears that stream, All is not as good as it may seem After she gets used to the situation Her heart begins to heal She finds out it is better this way Making it all seem unreal Now she is happy All the fighting is now gone No more worries to tend to She has been waiting so, so long.
