The Dormant Seed of Solitude

The barrren fields inhale deeply and
if you look long enough, they
may just steal your
breath
away.
My eyes roll along the naked bodies of
these once modest lands and
notice very little aside from
clarity of thought.
Emptiness has indirectly led me to this
hushed home made of whispering reeds (which are far too secretive).
This is the only place I breathe and die,
laugh until I cry,
wrap my arms around myself and
just love
myself.
