Cupid's Arrow

I wrote this for valentine, for someone who is special to me. But it is useless now for me as i have to let go, because of complicated things.

By what rhyme or reason
Did i fall so deep within you?
It must have been nothing
But cupid's unseeing arrows.

Princess I must ask of you
This burning question.
When was the last time
You let you heart decide?

It took me down unmercifully
When I needed it the most.
But I must say truthfully
that I hold no regrets.

Each time I look into your soul
Through those beautiful eyes.
I see tears big as dews.
Halve them, share with me.

And after all that we've
Been through these past years.
I will make it up to you.
With this arrow scar that I cannot remove.

This is a nice poem. i like it and i know how you feel. i got dumped by my girlfriend before valentines day.... but anyway.... nice poem. i can't wait to see more of your work!

sorry to hear that from you zach, hope u are feeling better now, i'm planning for my next poem to be written tomorrow, i am trying to erase some memories now, i have to, and i will, and my next poem will be about forgetting.
