Ok.. So i wrote this poem in fear that my "Special Sum1 wouldn't reply but he did so i'm happy.. Anyways i loved this poem n i thought it was a good write from me.. so this is for all the girls who get there heart broken. (I didn't lol) _____________________________________________________ Measure Of A Man This time I laid it all out Put my heart on the line I try to convince myself it’d be worth it That what i did was fine But instead you broke me in a million pieces You overlooked what was really there The words “I love you” didn’t mean a thing God dam it! Life just isn’t fair! You could have just commented anyway Said “Good write or well done” But instead you found another poem Because hurting me would be fun So I’m done waiting for you to say it Because I know it’ll never be true So I’ll just drink my sorrows away Because it’ll be take me years to get over you She was just another aussie battler Whom for you, she fell I guess she should have known Loving you wouldn’t end well She’s too good to be forgotten So she won’t put up a fight Cause it took the measure of a man To destroy her world tonight |
