I'm going to leave the explanation of this one for a later post... see if you guys can't figure it out! The Lab Mice Run round the maze while we watch what you do Don’t care what you think about me or my crew You are the lab mice and your value is such That the harm you will suffer won’t be by our touch Rather send in the rats with their ruthless campaign We expect you to cope and to never complain You’ll fight and you’ll tear and nothing I’ll see What can you expect from a human like me? For we are much smarter or didn’t you know Intelligence comes when you see winters and snow We’ll trust you no more than now, if you please And if you do not we’ll not give you our cheese Understand you have no choice in the matter The cage will stay locked and the cheese gets no fatter So run another maze while we watch And remember… This life is not something you want to blotch "Be Strong and Always Remember what made you you." it kind of made me think of the mice actually being ppl.... for some sterange reason hehe.. I did like it tho.. great poem even if i did not get the meaning.... Krysti |

OK I meant to let this drag on for a while but I can't resist! Hunnie you're so close! Yes the mice are people and those people are us! You see I based this poem off a quote from the book "Enders Game" by Orson Scott Card. Valintine Wiggin says "...they call us children and they treat us like mice..." Oops..he he now i have to go. Oh well you can connect the rest of the dots! "Be Strong and Always Remember what made you you." Earl |
