Have you noticed that when you push your problems away;
When you tried to hide them one more day;
There was always that one person who was there;
That one person, the mediator who loves to care;

Do you remember what he did;
Do you remember treating him like a kid;
How much knowledge did he share;
And every time you met it with a dumd stare;

Have you ever really heard;
Anything he said, atleast one word;
Does he like how you blew him off;
Maybe to know that you lie each time you cough;

Do you remember the words he said;
Do you remember how he was right and you turned red;
How about the time you turned a deaf ear;
When you looked away and pretended not to hear;

I bet that you could really care less;
About how you left his brain in a giant mess;
I guess you just don't care how he likes to feel;
Soon you'll understand how what you did was real;

So how often have you looked in his eyes;
Look past the brown clouds of lies;
Stare a little longer and then you'll see;
Keep looking further into his past and you'll learn how happy he used to be.

wa-oh, we are getting some very talented guys here- i remember when it used to consist mainly of us women (no offence any guys who were here in the past, lol) it's nice to have your perspectives around. i just love poetry- don't you all as well?
