Out of the Blue

A shock as I see your address
In my mail’s scanty list
So, with more clicking than required
I fight it open (well, that’s the gist)

It said that I was right
That perhaps I spoke true
You told me more than once
That your sister said it too

Upon the next reply
You had written words numbered two
“Call me” they said
And I did so for you

We talked for near two hours
The time just flew right by
And among the many things
I convinced you through a lie

I said things would be okay
And that all would work out well
But that didn’t matter
Because without me you’re in hell

I meant it when I said
That dearest I love you too
But the pain and burdens I have now
Are not numbered few

So blame not yourself my dear
I fit the blame on me
But I dare not tell you this
Least you are angry

Know then, that I love you
There not much more to say
So love and dear be happy
For soon you’ll be away

and in the daylight i miss the nightmare- but deathly fear it in the dark of night

This was such an interesting write and I liked it alot the language is something you don't normally hear everyday which made this poem even more special and even more interesting to read.
