broken hearts

My wounds are still seaping
the remainder of my pain.
They need more than morphine
to make it numb.
They need more than a band-aid
to cover it up.

These things that i speak of,
never show their face.
They stay in a corner,
but never go away.
Hidden inside of something that appears to be okay.
My smile distracts you
while they are feasting inside
soon there won't be
a secret place to hide.

They are like acid on my soul,
just eating away.
I drank the poision,
it still lingers in my blood.
Everything i bleed
is full of my pain.
Somethimes i think
it will never go away.

The ones that i trusted,
turned their backs on me.
Every word they spilled out
was covered in unpurity.

My wounds are still seaping
the remainder of my pain.
They need more than a band-aid
to make them go away.

i loved it too. it's been great just sitting back and reading so many of everyone's poems. i think i found another poet i'll scroll down to read.
