I Am Legend

I am alone
this is of my own doing

I wrought my
own fate when I tested
the limits of science.

I suffer now
the unrelenting loneliness
and burden of restoring
my once thriving race.

I must endure
in this new world filled
with death and disease,
surviving these harsh times
to renew what used to be.

I shall not forget
what has happened in the past,
always pushing forward,
waiting for the time to come
where my words fall silent
on a world that is numb.

I am Legend........

oooooooooooooooooooooo, oooooooooooooooooooo, wow, chilling feeling up and down my spine. beautiful! a library piece if ever there was such a thing. it sounded as if fiction was telling its own story.
