So, I haven't been around for a while, I'm sorry. My life has been littered with the distractions of too much to do and too little time with which to do it. So, this hasn't exactly been my first priority. Anyways, here's my post! Hope you like!

*ps, today really is my birthday

So you believe in Destiny

The crow of said prophecy
Came through the window to me
The glass was shattering all around
And fell onto the cold cold ground

“The time is come” said he
And with shock and unbelief
I gazed around and then I saw
It was only I who heard his caw

“It is time? What time is this?”
I looked through memories for lines I’d missed
He cocked his head and stared at me
His eyes blinking in mockery

“The one knows not her time or place?”
Perplexed- the emotion on my face
I look around again and once more
Just to, well, to make sure

But the bird’s beckoning nod
Makes me feel like less of a fraud
So I go up and stand out
To figure this destiny and find a way out . . .

I haven't been on in awhile as well...
Good write but i gotta say:
there was a build up w/ the crow and the dialogue shared, making me very curious, but then no destiny revealed..disappointed me
