“And Though the Sea . . .”

Sometimes when I’m thinking
Well, in truth, always when I’m thinking
It is of you, and the events we play
They travel in my head
Replayed over and over again

And oddly enough my warmest comfort
Is knowing that you as well
Are enraptured in such thoughts too
Strange, isn’t it, the things that bring
Even such as me comfort

It’s nice to be able to perceive
That there are no sweet nothings
That come from your lips
Which has made it so much easier
To trust in the things you say to me

It’s the deepest I’ve ever been
Immersed in this new life
So radical, so different, so new
But I have no guilt, nor thought of wrong
Even if some of my life is borderline

Every thought of life
Turns like the open sea
And the note on your book of my writing
Must brings your thoughts closer to me
Something to repeat over and over again

“And though the tide may turn my thoughts,
The sea bring my memories back to me”

"I have no other but a woman's reason:
I think him so, because I think him so."

You are a great poet, as I've said before. I cant say anything about this poem, except it was great.
