I’ve always been Out on my own Never been loved Nor have I ever known Feelings this strong for someone else You’ve helped me see More than myself The stars in the sky seem brighter The sun always shines The light never dies Darkness is gone away Since you made me see More than myself It don’t matter how What matters is why Why you were there Why you held me tight All through the night And though just a dream Is real; so real At least it’s real enough for me For living on dreams Is all I can do Because I know in my heart I don’t stand a chance with you If only you loved me too If only you could see Someone other that you… |
