Murmur Sweet Sometimes when I murmur in my sleep I think on the dreams you are dreaming At least, in my dreams And as I stay safe asleep These words I murmur love Can you resist the chance to be with me? Love, do I make your mind wander Like the irresistible flow of river waters Catching on, and holding tight, When all you wanted was to take a dip in The kind of love we have Is so different, pulling and wild But I have to choose now between you And my ever present conscience But my I love to love you It’s the kind of love that’s dangerous The decisions I’m facing Are so hard to understand For once, the path is murky For once I don’t know which is right It’s my choice and my heart Is split between my God and you But God shall surly win This war no mortals see Though I know the choice to be mine "I thought I'd just mention in passing . . . Some choices are near impossible. But in the end, the hardest choices are usaully the ones that help the most, even if you make the wrong choice ('cause you learn from them right?) This poem made me realize that and I thought I'd share it. Good luck! -Andrew As assassin shouldn't fall in love. |
