Stand up and applaud For I’m the girl from Australia I’m a desperate housewife A complete and utter failure I don’t know how I got here They didn’t give me a fancy dress They just threw me an apron And told me to clean up the mess You see now I can’t escape I’ve been left in this hole to rot In this dark and dreary hole A tricky lil spot I can go to college If I don’t move out Because it’s my job to look after mother And friends I must learn to live without Hell I’m sick of crying After all there’s barely any point I can scream and shout all I want But I get no inheritance if I leave this joint I go to school five days a week I leave at seven, return at four Hell I ain’t like any normal kid Because I don’t want to live anymore Everyday without fail, waiting when I get home Is a sink full of dirty dishes.. I wish my life was better These are my solemn wishes So stand up and applaud This girl from Australia I’m a desperate housewife A complete and utter failure So I pick up my gloves Run water in the sink Deep down she hates this life More than anyone could think So I’ll tighten up my apron strings Hold my head down and sigh Here I will start praying That you don’t see the tears that are running from my eyes Because I’m a desperate housewife A title that suits me well A good for nothing lazy daughter Who insides hurting like hell… |
