Tonight

Tonight what I really need
Is someone to comfort me

Tonight what I really feel
Is something that makes me drowsy

Tonight what I really want
Is to cry until my ducts run dry

Tonight what I’m thinking about
Is how much I need someone

Tonight it seems nothing
Is curing me of low mood

Tonight what I’m not getting
Is someone who can comfort

Tonight what I’m missing
Is feeling awake

Tonight what I can have
Is to cry myself dry

Tonight no one
Is answering my thoughts

Tonight nothing I know of
Is curing me of this mood

"I thought I'd just mention in passing . . . I always wanted a Sparkly of my very own." -Jeremy The Crow

i liked how you repeated the word "tonight". It strongly emphasizes the significance of that particular day, and conveyed your true emotions in those moments. Great poem nonetheless!
