Why were you so fast to leave? Then why did you return? I never know how you really feel You still have much to learn When you came back I wanted to stay away I already had my heart broken Why should it hurt more that day? So when you arrived I kept my distance Yet you broke down all the walls I gave up without persistence It mad me confused Yet I let it all gone on I wanted to cry But it made me happy for the first in so lone I don’t know if you like me I know I still love you But since you won’t show how you really feel I don’t know what to do You act like you still have feelings Yet you won’t make the move Are you scared I won’t take you back Because I’m so confused? Well I don’t know if I would You’ve hurt me so many times Yet I miss you so much I need you in my life. I want you in my arms again But the past seems so far away I wish it would all come back But “if” and “when” I cannot say You once said you loved me But I’m not sure that was true You played me like the guitars that you play It left me empty, sad and blue I told you those three words And you treated it like dirt You didn’t even care what I had given up That really really hurt! I wish that fight had never happened Then everything would be okay Maybe if you still cared for me You would have been with me and stayed I love you That’s what I’m trying to say What else can I do But go on in life and pray? |
