Before Dawn Breaks

Before dawn breaks
The stars are at their best
I couldn’t be happier
As the breath of the morning
Becomes my own

Orion and the morning star
Moon and the fog of sunrise
Surround my world so carefully
I learn to be more
Than a silly girl alone

Before dawn breaks
The world is at peace in the near morning
Too early for evil
And just right for the good
But words do it no justice

Watching their travels
Day by day
West of me leaving
My stars that guide me
Traveling out of my range

It’s a glorious morning
Yet there is no sun yet
The frozen blades near shatter
Underneath the weight of me
And there is not a moment so peaceful as this

"I thought I'd just mention in passing . . . I always wanted a Sparkly of my very own." -Jeremy The Crow

i liked it alot my favourite line was
West of me leaving
it was just so i don't know but it just caught my eye like crazy although the only thing i did find a bit wrong with the poem is that it seemed not to have a present flow but that might just be me
