Confused and Angry

It was like a suffocating need
I couldn’t stand you mad at me
As I heard the word of your anger
I was deeply surprised and shocked

Your Edwardian grace and kindness
Had never felt that way before
You’ve never been angry with me
Something I loved and cherished

Four days I sat and seethed
Not knowing of your sudden reason
You left me alone, something I took hard
The closest person to me ignoring

I finally couldn’t take it
I gave you my pleading apology
You were as surprised as I had been
You had never been angry

I’m shocked and relieved beyond measure
A weight I hated lifted
And I was glad to have you back
A friend I couldn’t live without

I really loved this. It almost felt like a conversation to me. It's definately one of my faves by you. Going in my library.
