I’m on the internet
Click on Southern Comfort
Cause that’s who I am

And I’m a little more than slightly disappointed
When All I see
Is Hip-Hop and R&B

Don’t get me wrong
I love those genres as they are
But are those really
The number one southern stars?

Is that really what southern comfort is?
Cause I think it’s
Sittin’ on the front porch in large wicker chair
Drinkin’ Ice tea and watchin’ the sun go down
Maybe that’s just me
Maybe I just don’t get out much

But I’m just a simple southern girl
Who knows what it’s like
In a simple southern world
Free spirited and classy
Loud-mouthed and bossy
Yep, that’s who I am

And If I could here one song
Talk about my Sweet Ft. Walton
Or Gorgeous Georgia
Then I’d be happy
Then they’d actually be singin’
Some sweet southern comfort
To me
