What makes one-person right and another wrong?
How can it break him but make me strong?
If I had a dime for every question that I can’t answer..
If I knew what my dreams are, president, writer or  dancer..

I wish that I could find a freedom that will allow me to understand.
I wish I have the courage to give up control and do something unplanned.
How do I know when my words take me over the line?
How do I give up the shadows and learn to just shine?

How can I dream of freedom, when I know its just a dream?
Why do I live a lie when I know it’s not what it seems?
After all these years, everything I’ve been through-I still believe.
I want there to be a reason I hurt- unbind me let me see.

I am scared- I don’t know what is to come
I’ll endure-but what about my loved ones?
Why do I find myself crying when my best friend is in pain?
Knowing she is hurt and confused-helplessness-I can’t explain.

Why each time do I manage to make it back?
Where do I find the humanity I lack?
In order to tell a story, I have to understand their pain to relate
I want to fix it, the agony they feel is part of my heartache.

It is like being in the middle of a storm but too far away to help.
When I pull back and don’t run to their side-I am really just hurting myself
Why do we judge people by their differences that are really arcane?
But won’t it better unite us to examine what makes us all the same?

If I ever had a goal – It would be to create a world where people are allowed to change.
There are plenty of victims who need something to stand for- a world they can make.
Why are so many silenced before they ever had a voice?
Why do I still blame others for what was only my choice?

I open up my ears and try to listen for one song.
It refuses to play though its what could makes us strong.
Maybe I don’t know who I want to be
But I do know that if anything I want to be free.

Wow rhia...i loved this. It's amazing And there do seem to be so many questions without answers...

So no more hiding all your pain, you deserve a new start. That's why i'm closing myself away, this is a message from your heart.

This is probably my favorite poem by you. I can really relate. And, also, I like the rythm.
