a characteristic many beings hold,
for it is the most important

love and truth will become a painful path...
for it is strength thats keeps life going

Substantial life goals accomplished
for cupids arrow may bring two hearts together or fracture it once more

strength, the shield of the heart,
blocking the poisonous arrows,

And letting the pure in,
for strength is knowledge

Knowing what to let in,
or out,

By knowledge is a strong force
a force named friendship

Backed up by people of love
the guard is strong,

this characteristic of strength...
unlock it...

for it resides in all beings...

I dunno, I like that poem as it is. I think that the layout speaks to the audience... I believe that the message of the poem speaks with the layout.

good job, I really enjoed it.

i'm not sure but i think the last line should be resides in us all instead of in each being because the line right now doesn't seem to flow but i do like it as a poem  and the idea behind it
