When I wanted you and you wanted me and together we'd never be wanting anymore. Now I want you you don't want me and together is a memory I'd like to ressurect. Could I be your friend? But you don't need another. Too quick to cross that line So I keep space between. Akward confrontation's a machine, It fuels my imagination And creates my nightmares which I act on. Though I have no shame Only I take the blame, Incomplete yet numb so I feel no pain. Kept clean like I'm supposed to But in your eyes I'm stained. So I recycle my mind I remind myself What I realize As I try to capture your heart in rewind. A simple question. Can I Re-Try? |
