Come find me?

0 posted 2007-07-06 12:28 PM

Ok, this is another really old one. I really don't like the rhyming, So if you have any ideas...

i know that it's wrong to love you now,
but i'm not so sure i care.
i should move on, forget about you,
but that's something i wouldn't dare.

i know that it's wrong to wish you were mine,
life seems a blur without you.
i should just find another friend,
but i can't find the strenght to.

i know that it's wrong to believe you'll come back,
but i hope you will every day.
i should let it go, you're gone for good,
but i still hope anyway.

i know it's wrong to hate you,
for leaving me all alone.
i should be happy that you're gone,
yet my heart is heavy as stone.

i know it's right to say good-bye,
and allow you just to leave.
i shouldn't hold on to the past,
so i guess now i'll set you free.

Please excuse me, my heart is bleeding.

rewrite it and scrape the ryhming. it was great, but i think free verse would go much better- just what i think anyways, but, then again, what does my thinking matter.
