Delusion A little tired of life and all it takes Writing down little words and not making sense I’m a bit ready for the night to come So done with all this day and its trauma My green sleeves cut from the shirt I wear Cover my uncut wrists and the ends of my palms My fingers type slower as slower my heart beats Starting to fall a sensation of fainting that never follows through Can you see my eye lids now, drooping down And my hair is in my eyes and my back is not so straight A poem of delusions of the mostly asleep Kate So silent in sleep, so mocking in meditation, so serene in slumber Falling under the wings of an angel the one that watches Keeping harm from her pale face, the one that burns Sweeping hair back from the contours of her shoulders Oh angel, make sweet her dreams as she deludes the real world The full moon is waning and my limbs are going fuzzy Not responding but the finger tips keeping writing down my thoughts Now she drops and falls on the table there Be silent while she says her nightly prayer I stuck my bare hand into your rip cage and fished around until I found your heart ripped it out tore it apart while saying You dont need this anymore |
