Ok be nice, this is my first attempt at poetry.

A friend...

Persuaded you to do something,
which you weren't sure of the outcome.
Made up of good and bad times
to them it was just a game.

It was only a matter of time
before hurt, anger and regret
as if it were a crime.

A month passed and you started to move on,
Not realising, it had only just begun.
They were always going to be a threat.
You were betrayed, you'll never forget.

You sat there silently sobbing,
with a heart torn and throbbing.
"How could I be so foolish?"
"A friend would never do this"

To this day you still remember,
that "friend" who betrayed you,
that "friend" who sits there with their thoughts.
who knows deep down what they did
who knows deep down they've lost a friend.
