Love At Fourteen

At first I was distant,
Then you got me to trust you,
After that our relationship was through.
I let you in-into my family, my home, and my heart,
After that you tore it all apart.
I was blind unitl the end,
Should have seen it within.
Everyone said love at fourteen doesn't last,
They were right because it's all in the past.
I remember laughing in the rain,
But now all I feel is pain.

Basically this is my first time doing this, so yeah..

yah Welcome to Passions. good to have new voices... love doesn't happen at 16 either and I doubt it really does anyway I think it has to grow over time well that is my experience...

the exact same thing happened when I was 14. Good poem, written nicely.
