She used to smile at me every day,
Now all she wants is for me to stay away.
I don’t blame her for feeling like this,
I wish I could give her the ignorance that’s bliss.

How could I have broken her heart,
When I knew it was precious from the start?

What I did was innocent at first,
But then it got to me, the hunger, the thirst.
Seeing her close to some other guy,
Made me want to curl up and die.

It’s amazing that she held on so long,
How could I have done something so wrong?

The anger built up, I had to strike out,
She took the brunt of my pain and my shouts.
And instead of fighting for me like she used to,
She said “This is it, whatever we had is now through.”

What kind of horrible thing do you must do,
To make your guardian angel leave you?

I can’t take it back, can’t make it undone,
And now I’ve lost my most loved one.
She won’t come back, she’s gone for good,
God knows I’d take it back if I could.

I only ask because, you see,
Now I’ve done it, and she’s left me

~Kels...please...~

The only reason I'd let you fall is because I want to catch you.
