I think I’ll be okay
I just need someone to hold me
Till the pain goes away

I just need you to hold me
Close, oh so close, to you
Till I don’t hurt anymore
And all I see is you

There are scars on my heart
Of friendships broken and discarded
I’m a fallen angel
Who’s a little broken hearted

But if you hold me tight
I promise that I’ll smile
All you have to do is hold me
For just a little while

I just need your arms around me
To block out all the hurt
I just need you to catch me
Before I hit the dirt

I promise if you do this
Someday I’ll do it for you too
But for right now
Just Hold me close to you

i liked that you started it with a triplet and then went into quads. it made it more interesting. and my favorite line was
I’m a fallen angel
Who’s a little broken hearted"
it painted a beautifully sad image. i loved it.

"Love is when you tell a guy you like his shirt, then he wears it
everyday."
