The blue sky is once again filled with your delight
The delight that washed over you when you kissed me goodnight
I never really loved you, your were just a friend
I tried to explain this, but the message did not send
I hope I’m not to blame for this slow suicide
I wanted nothing more than friendship, to this I thought you could abide

You were supposed to help me, I was supposed to be their for support
Instead you fell in love with me and now I’m here in court
You state to the judge that I led you on
But I specifically told you this could not go on

Maybe it was my sentimental thoughts
That kept you coming back for more of that subtle loving warmth
I told you my daughter was more important but this you couldn’t see
You told the police you just couldn’t seem to live your life without me

You threw stones at my windows in the middle of the night
You made my dad move out after him and I got into a fight
They didn’t believe that I had changed; you see I used to be a tart
But when my daughter came along I grew up quick smart

I can’t believe you would do this to me, what did I ever did to you
I opened my heart to a bloke in need but instead you broke it in two
I’m not a heart breaker and I certainly am not looking for love at the races
But you have made me into this psychopath who touches you in improper places

So take a look at the clouds, which appear before your eyes
Take a look at the memories and all those sad goodbyes
Take a look at how many times my innocent eyes have cried
Take a look at who I am, and figure out why you yourself have lied?
Don’t ruin my life because I said no
Just stand up and be a man, realize it is time for you to go

wow revenge,

i enjoy seeing the world through your eyes. you express human feelings in one of the rawest states i've ever seen.

Very nice, I can acually relate to most of this well xcept having a kid part but, i liked this.

I thought this poem had a wonderful flow to it, although stanza 5 got a bit choppy. a couple other places could use some smothing over, but ovrall I thought it was very good
