Poems are so often related
to old writers ever so dated
or sorrow or sadness
girls love for boy
not happiness, cheerfulness
jumping for joy.

Espesially those i have read so far
and written in anguish and tears before
i thought about life and about what i have,
about family, friends and my home full of love.

so before you decide to wallow in it,
take self pity and sorrow and bin it
although you have failed to get that one kiss
you have a computer on which to read this.

so now get up, stand up and jump for joy
forget about that girl or boy
dont be silly, dont be dated,
smile and wipe clean the slate of hatred!
