I never knew how lonely i felt before today, before i sat down here and wrote this, before i sat down here and opened up my mind, and thought about what iv missed I misunderstood everything, all that i knew, iv skipped a beat, or two, now i know why im so alone, and why no body wants to know. without speaking, smiling, showing any sort of emotion, i get up, stand up again, i peel the skin away from the chair, the bare skin that kept me there, i walk over to the door and turn the handle round until it opens, until it scrapes the floor beneath it and creaks as it opens, until it slides away from its frame as it opens, until it opens. then i walk through the door, bare as before, i walk swiftly down the street, alone as before, i break into a run, awake as before, and then i stop. |

lonley. i have felt that way before too. But no matter what i found out there was always someone there waiting for me to be myself again. i liked this poem... very good... hunnie  ~fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me~ |
