It was the glaring intimidation,
The sounds of arrogant time,
A benevolence granted by distain,
The beauty of sadness so vein
That I once knew so fondly, so fair.

Just causes were amid my hair,
The lesson: that attraction will snare;
All hearts are lured, lulled into love.
I hold her in memories, not dreams;
We never were closer than how it seems,
A friend, my love, not lover, not one.
How beautifully bad we related.

I am the two-toed wanderer

Just causes were amid my hair,
The lessons affections will snare

Seemed forced right there you might want to change.
