where my heart is

last year i met you with a smile on your face
you called me friend and and showed me grace
we were always together sharing memories
sitting on the grass telling stories.

but then i got news that you would be going
i was up in the air before, i was soaring
now i was falling to the ground at great speed
my friend was all that i thought i would need

i went on everyday with tears in my eyes
but you never left it was such a surprise
and i couldn't beleive the saddness it caused
it was just the thought of you leaving us all
but the reason you didn't go
was something that we all didn't know
your family lost something for that to be true
but you've come alright since that fact was new.

the fear of losing can tear you apart
even if the actual loss is not as hard
your fears can stretch things bigger than they are
when really from that, the truth is very far.

kinda hard to read...i know...and i couldn't get very good rhythym, but i wrote this just now...so tell me what i could do to improve it = ) thanx

I understand too.

loved this bit. had prefect rythm.
