please stop jumping to conclusions,
look closer into my eyes,
is that all you see, deciet ans lies?

please stop thinking i'm awful,
look closer into my eyes,
he's wrong i'm not that kind,

please stop looking at me scornfully,
look closer it's about time you'd see,
i may be your daughter but there's more to me,

so stop jumping to conclusions,
i'm not living on lies and illusions.

First of all...I LOVE IT!!!  It's very much from the heart, which is really awesome!  I also love that at the end you reveal that it's not about a friend or a guy, but your parents.  Very nicely done.  The flow was a little shaky in places, but it was beautiful!  Good job!

When I stopped trying find the right guy, and concentrated on being the right girl, the right guy found me.
