what's for lunch today?
for i do not want on my plate is anguish,
tears, lying, disappointment.
don't cover it within
worthless promises
if it's not natural,
don't serve it to me.
the sweets that are here
are only bitter,
tasteless, and most unacceptable.
the food that i have tasted,
was sweet, pure,
honestly natural without
the artificial flavoring.
it contain hope, a dash of success,
happiness, and mostly love.
what happen to the delight
within what we consume?
we eat up the lies,
the pain,
and sadness that has
become our everyday meal.
instead of being full for what is good,
we consume the bad,
never becoming full.
always returning for
a second helping
of things we can't digest.

Yes, I agree. This is a very original take on the main ingredients of a fulfilling, harmonious life.
