Perhaps I am in love,
with the idea
of being in like with you.
But it's well worth
the price I might pay,
every payday
purchasing an excuse
to stall and talk to you.

So interesting are you,
a faucet
dripping smiles.
Each splashes
as it hits the shower floor.
Explodes into multiple laughs
that I share
with only myself,
and your memory.

The consistent tapping
of water on ceramic,
whispers harmless lovers secrets
that I ought to share with you
but cannot.

Not yet.

You could always do the bird of paradise mating dance, I hear women are awfully impressed by that.

Enjoyed your write, remember, patience is a virtue.

My Dear Kaoru...

Thank you for the kind words. I'm a pretty patient guy.

I usually do the chicken dance. Bird of Paradise is a bit advanced for me.

I guess that can be sexy too if you add in a couple moves of flair. Good luck.

Kaoru... I'll break out the leather thong that I finished bedazzling yesterday. I'm sure that ought to do the trick.

Margo... Thanks very much ma'am.
