Bones has always been way grateful
when people chance to treat him well.

In his working everyday world,
that just doesn’t happen often.

He wishes that it did,
Bones likes to feel good
about his world.

The street can be
such a cruel
and savage place.

To feel gratitude is so important. I am glad to hear that Bones has reason too to be grateful and that he has the sensitivity to express it.

I bet he loves to feel well within his world. Sometimes it happens, though it is hardly a permanent state.

It's good that you know Bones well. He has a very thin and sensitive skin. He also lets people know that he likes and appreciates them. Bones has a lot of good friends.

Okay - so Bones is treated well so maybe he just doesn't take sufficient notice often enough for it to stick in his memory. He's a complicated character who like me should perhaps learn to be ... simple.

You might have a good idea for Bones. However, Bones is way too busy being complicated to take time out to be simple.
