Griselda’s been dancing
down at the strip club ever
since she got her working papers.

After the first couple of nights,
she made a promise to herself
that she would never do
alcoholic beverages.

All the drunken louts
with their pudgy hands
trying to grab for her
made her rather sick.

It was a major turn off
that left a lasting impression.

Even after she married Bones,
she never touches the stuff.

Bobby

A wise choice indeed,
no need for dancing lesson's,
just comes natural, enjoyed,

Thanks dear Bloodline,

For your kindness in commenting on my poem.

I'm pleased that you agree with Griselda.  I'm pleased that the poem worked that way for you.  My present girlfriend used to dance, and won't drink for the same reason.

Love Bobby

Being groped by a bunch of drunks would certainly be a deterrent to drinking! *S* I like Griselda's strength! *S*

Thanks dear Suthern,

Yes, it seems to work that way.

Griselda says hello.

Thanks dear Brneyedgrly,

It's great to see you here.

I'm pleased that you found my poem gritty.  Someone has to do it.

Thanks for reading, and for your kind words.

Yes Griselda does sound like a lady of

virtue Bobby, good luck to Bones.
