endearing to a touch
   sacrificial
bearing of soul
rather than its make
precisioned lighting
   a waste
bringing out the dark
from unplayed corners
of taken eyes,
and parallel lines
   deceased

games people play,
each their own
penned

within its own skin
now souless,
unescapable exhibits
of mindless actions
and heartless
thoughts
   confined

In rhythms to a rise the days shall follow ... each Yesterday, each Tomorrow.   -  Ct/05

You are never soul less
and a roomfill of trophies
would never surpass what
needs not to be gloated or boasted of
you are simply a poetryman

The following lines I found myself wanting to revisit ~

"bringing out the dark
from unplayed corners
of taken eyes,"

I liked the Goddess's apt description of you ~ "poetryman".

The constrasts of human nature are so stark here.

Excellent poem.

Your writing is always so good to read, Craig.

Good morning Craig, I just wanted to stop by and say how  much your words were missed and that I enjoyed this.

So you are now on the west coast?  Hope all is well.
