I shall go on...
For there is in me
That which is part
Of the eternal you;
Even as in you
There is of me
A quiet,deathless ember.
Thus so shall we together
Span beyonds,and know,
Though lost,one to the other,
Still where one shall be,
So shall the other go.

Now, there's a vow if ever I heard one. A top-notch declaration of love and commitment, beyond the earthly.

just so ... this is enticing, who wouldn't sigh after reading such beautiful thoughts!
