You are the morning sun
Open my eyes to your light
Waken me from the dark
Bless me with your sight
Warm me in your gold embrace
And kiss with heat upon this face

How much in awe as I rise
You touch all within your reach
Breathing life into dormant slumber
Capturing this sleeper with your speech
The path above Earth you mount
Upon this thought I always count

Just one day to meet you there
Be able to touch you too
Give warmth to fill the void
As your travels daily do
Somehow I wish upon you, my star
To the eternal light that you are

Much inspiration comes on
the Sun's rays, a melody
for the heartstrings,

Oh I like this sleepy love poem, and all that it conveys.

A light that warms even when the sun stays hidden ...

So beautiful!

Love,
Margherita
