Seeking visions may be a white man's word
feeling Mother earth's mood swings
is to listen with the whole body
not in a house or driving a car,
in the woods I walk and stop
to learn to see and hear
whispers, but I can't speak
the language, still I want to hear,
years pass and so much is lost
I have come to pray to seek
the better way with my spirit
to be a part of earth and sky
and let it be in my blood
as songs for every heartbeat.

Welcome to Pip, dear granville!

I very much enjoyed your first entry. You are on the right track I would say! To discover and feel the oneness with All there is, begins by listening and Nature is willing to open wider horizons, no doubt.

Lovely and wise.

Love,
Margherita

Welcome to Passions:

Very meaningful poetry;

..."I have come to pray to seek
the better way with my spirit
to be a part of earth and sky
and let it be in my blood
as songs for every heartbeat. "

Every day is Sunday in nature.

Welcome to Pips.
To listen, even when one doesn't know the language, is to connect on the most primal level. This is a beautiful write.
