some margarita afternoons
when you are just wearing vulnerable
you say how strong the scent is
and how could I not know you are

and you wish it wasn't so obvious
as you pull my arms up around your nudity
to cover those chill places with warm
before you begin trembling to that music

that weeps from your heart beat speakers
and you get that soft place in your eyes
just before you close them tightly
to keep me from looking inside of your soul

I steal a kiss then, slowly, the on purpose kind
and leave some of my wanting more there
on your lips where your smile is undone
and is just a bit smeared with the whisper

of you begging me to stop you from waiting

Wow, you have reached 10000 and 1!!!

Congratulations, dear D.!

This "hand song and gradual" fits the celebration perfectly. Simply enchanting.

The name "margarita" sprang into my eyes. I have never had any of those drinks, but the effects on you seem nice, it has a friendly sound no doubt! Better to share the name with a drink or a pizza (which is named after the Queen Margherita ...) rather than with a washing machine ...

Continue to bless us with your fantastic poetry, dear D.! Thank you for the past, present and future poetic blessings.

Love,
Margherita

You always amuse me with your vision and style.  I have been looking for a thesaurus of Dark to interpret your fine writing. (Just kidding)
Really,  You are one of a kind, The kind I like to read. I am never disapointed by your writing.

10002,  Wow.
Well done.
Tracey.

Congrats on your posts, D!

If this is word abuse, I'll wear that black and blue.

I'm about to start a stretch of margarita afternoons... but I'd bet my last dollar they won't be nearly this much fun. *S* However... you've given me a goal. LOL

I'll be thinking of you as I'm "wasting away" *S*... and know I'll find good reading when I get back! *S*

Loved this! *S*
