Little Bones is way hungry.
Oh yeah.

He hasn’t eaten in three days.

Mom doesn’t have
anything to give him.

His stomach’s growling
and his head is aching.

His belly button is rubbing
up against his backbone.

He’s back behind
the Paradise Restaurant
on Girard Avenue.

He’s picking around the garbage cans,
there’s always something good back there,
the Paradise always has good food,
and they serve big helpings.

Bones isn’t picky,
and he’s very quiet
taking the lids off the cans.

He always was a polite child.

He won’t get caught.

Bobby

Bobby,  Are you trying to break our hearts or what?  I want to take him in my arms and give him a big hug.

What more can I say.

Love and stuff, Billie C.

If had lived in my neck of the woods, we would have invited him over for supper.

Hello Boby , this is intolerable, every human being had to eat ...Thank you for the dignified story.

Thanks dear Billie,

For your very kind hugs.  I was thinking about those days last night, and it kept me awake, and sickish in the stomach.

Bones says thanks for the hugs, and hugs you right back.

Love Bobby

Thanks dear Alison,

I have no doubt that you are correct.  People in the North take better care of each other, because of the cold.

Here in the Eastern man-swarm it's a little more dog-eat-dog.

Thanks Yann,

Yes, Bones thought it was intolerable too.  As described, Bones always made sure he had something to eat.
