She fell an addict to the most lethal venom
Draining what blood she couldn't convey
From another loosening clasp of hands, she lost herself
In the dialogue of a fluent gentleman's touch
Speaking the language of lust, she followed
Every word and then several more to come
Oblivious to the fatal consequences of truth
Though honest words were never spoken
They assembled themselves in shattered pieces
Scattered clues traced by his influential hands
Arms of longing; fists of misguidance
How could such a simple touch imply so much sensation?
And why would a man with intentions only to wrong
Desecrate so much of his precious time
Simply to taste an addict of the most lethal venom

And the last three lines are a question I've always been curious to know the answer to..

She fell an addict to the most lethal venom -

Enjoyed thinking things through here. The first line is poignant. His venom is lethal and she fell addicted to lies and whirling tales- a wraith of the daylight  with issues like spun candy. danger and venom here. Brooding thoughts - coloured my day - what more can a poem do?
