Bones does his best to
avoid nasty, cruel, clients.

It’s difficult to do.

Bones never attempts
to tell a book by its cover,
he doesn’t believe
in doing that sort of thing.

There’s just too much chance
that he’ll make a mistake,
and miss out on some easy money.

After a lot of experience,
Bones has discovered that the clients
that are neatly dressed,
and generally present
a pleasing appearance
are usually the ones
that he wants to avoid.

They usually turn out to be cruel,
and treat him really rotten.

Sometimes Bones can tell
by the cars they drive.

He avoids clients in the big,
long fancy cars,
all shiny clean,
and well waxed.

He avoids those clients
like the plague.

Bones doesn’t want
to get all beat up and ruined.

Bobby

I don't want him to, either. I like bones.

Thanks dear Osprey,

That's kind of you.  Be assured, Bones needs all the friends that he can get.

I think it's about time Bones got out of that nasty old city and came out west where folks ride horses and kick dents in those fancy black cars.

Thanks dear Billie,

Bones says thanks for the kind invite.

However Bones has lived in the hood for so long that it would kill him to leave it.  He loves it here.  The hood depends on him.

Covers are all the matter to some... Bones knows that pretty packaging isn't everything... and sometimes conceals great ugliness.

Thanks dear Suthern,

I'm pleased you agree with Bones.  Bones has also discovered that many pretty people, are also very nice people.  Like he says, you just can't tell.
