A Little Poem

If I had a tuffit, I’d share it with you
One bowl of curds and whey,
Two spoons
We’d talk of silly things
Nothing things that don’t matter

Under the shoodle-doodles of day
We’d smiles our secrets
Two friends
Creating fairy tales,
Singing nonsense songs out of tune

We’d tuffit sit as moon drops whispered
Subtle suggestions and joined
Two lovers
Believing that magic exists
Weaving night dreams into webs

You surely make ME believe that magic exists, dear Alison. This is very lovely. Had me google searching for "tuffit" and I found it: A 'tuffit' is a small stoollike chair! (round seat top with 3 legs).

Can imagine the acrobatics to share it with another, having also a bowl of curds and whey ...

Thank you so much for the smiles!

Love and hugs.
Margherita

If you silly moderator folk wouldn't bleep it, I'd comment on how much I "effing" love your work, and you as a person.

Ala-nevertoosoon, you're a cool cat.

Everyone deserves to be loved, even you.

I can honestly say that I have never wanted to sit on a tuffit
as badly as I now want to share one with you.

Do they come in different colors?

Cute, whimsical write,
Tracey.

Well, magic does exist. I'd gladly share your tuffit, Miss Muffet. But, I'm on a diet: the curds and whey are all yours.
Completely unexpected and charming. Thank you.

Margherita,

You gotta put your right foot in and put your right foot out.  Do the hokey-pokey and turn yourself about.  That's what it's all about!

Oh wait - I am doing my ADD thing again.  It's a tight fit but, you know, tuffit sharing is all about snuggling.

Thank you for reading and - know what?  There is magic!  Honest.

Love,
Alison

D, you gotta upgrade those teeth!  Sheese - you think every odd noise is from those dang teeth you wear.  C'mon man, a tuffit is what you would wear under your kilt (if you wore one).  Everyone knows that!

Yep, Tracey, tuffits are like Life-Savers - they come in any color you can imagine.  It's all about your imagination, you know.  Thank you for sharing -

Hey Osprey,

Thanks for the C&W.  May I hock your spoon since you don't need it?  Seriously, thank you for reading and smiling.

Alison

-

Bobby,

Okay, okay, I'll share with you.  Osprey gave us lots more.  Take care and thank you for reading and enjoying with me.

Alison

Karou,

Yay!     I love to make people smile and laugh.

Thank you.

Sue,

You are always so nice to me.  Thank you.
