Bones can’t understand
people that dwell in the past.

Dwelling in the past
would totally freak him out.

The past was horrible,
there’s nothing about it
that he cares to remember,
and there’s loads of it
that he’d love to forget.

Perhaps it is best for Bones to let sleeping dogs lie. Onward and upward! The future is a clean slate.

Well, Bones has his opinion. I don't live in the past, but I sure as heck hate to see it repeated in the actions of others.

I know what it is to want to forget... but I don't seem to do a very good job of the forgetting. *S* Perhaps that's saved a few mistakes... perhaps it's fueled a few nightmares... my past still defines a lot of my present. *S*
