You stand there in all the pain
The pain of a dead legend
How much can you take of this?
Can I make it better?
Or is this a temporary disease
Is there a way I can remind you of yesterday
How much longer now?

This is my life as it was meant to be
Is this just a dream I have been sold?
Or is a brand new day
With a world of something new
How much can we keep dreaming?
My hearts stuck in yesterday
How long can I keep living
My heart is stuck with you

How much can we keep dreaming?
My hearts stuck in yesterday
How long can I keep living
My heart is stuck with you

This really struck a chord with me... I hope you find answers.

Life is a never ending lesson, journey.

Your heart is stuck with the memory, and eventually letting go is all we can do.

Nice work.

Letting go is the hardest lesson in life...the one that it is the toughest to master.  This poem aches with that inability...so clearly.
